Home data
With your permission, Home Actions uses Apple’s HomeKit framework to access your homes, rooms, accessories, states, and scenes. It uses this information to show your home and carry out the controls you request. The app keeps accessory data in memory and does not send it to a developer-operated server.
Information on your Mac
Preferences, favorite selections, room choices, and the daily free-control allowance are stored locally on your Mac. Home Actions does not require a separate account and includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDK.
Purchases
Pro purchases and restoration use Apple’s StoreKit service. Apple processes payment information. Home Actions reads purchase entitlement information to unlock Pro; the developer does not receive your payment card details through the app.
This website
The website does not add advertising or analytics scripts. Your appearance and language preferences may be saved in your browser’s local storage. The interactive demo uses sample data only and cannot access your real home. The hosting provider processes technical request information needed to serve and secure the site, such as IP addresses and browser information. Hosting and access services may use necessary session cookies.
Support requests
If you contact support, the information you choose to send is used to answer your request. Include only what is necessary to explain the issue. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable obligations. Support email is handled through Google Workspace. We process app-related contract enquiries under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other support requests are handled in our legitimate interest in providing support under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Your choices
You can revoke HomeKit access in macOS System Settings. Clear this website’s browser data to remove saved website preferences. To ask about personal information in a support conversation, contact the publisher using the details in the imprint. Applicable data-protection law may give you rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and complaint to a supervisory authority.
Website processing and your rights
Technical website data is processed to deliver and protect the website, based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is retained only as needed to operate, secure, and diagnose the service. Where the GDPR applies, you may also request data portability and complain to a supervisory authority, including the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA). Contact us using the details below to exercise your rights.
Apple services and changes
Apple operates HomeKit, the App Store, and purchase services under its own privacy terms. This policy may be updated when the app, website, or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
